The Cross is made out of 3/4 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe. I got the idea of using PVC pipe from another site, however their design could not support the height and number of lights I desired, let alone withstand conditions on the peak of a roof so I had to do some redesigning. The cross is 1 foot wide and is sectioned in 1 foot increments. I then added a center piece to each section for added support. Everything is joined with a series of T-Joints and 4-Way connectors. The Connections are sealed together with Christy's Red Hot Glue.
